Wooly Mammoth LogoCloning a Wooly Mammoth?

Scientist have cloned plants and animals. This is a fact. The next step is to clone a human being or possibly a Wooly Mammoth Logo

As Evan and Danny 4th graders answer. Why would you want someone just like you? "Maybe that kid can share school activities, games, and chores. One could skip school while the other attended. Only as long as they didn't know about the duplicate."

"We would really like to see a live Wooly Mammoth Logo! "

What is DNA and cloning? A chromosome is made up of DNA and the proteins attached to it. There are 23 pairs of chromosomes in a human cell. One of each pair  was inherited from your mother and the other from your father. DNA is a particular biomolecule. All of the DNA is found in individual pieces, called chromosomes. This would be like muffins. Muffins are made up of muffin-matter and paper cups. All of the muffin-mater in your kitchen is found in individual pieces, called muffins.

Cloning is when you take the DNA and  provide the 23 pairs of chromosomes in a cell. Like artificial fertilization the cell is then placed in the body of a female animal to grow the animal till birth. Since there are no Wooly Mammoth Logo today, the scientist would use a female elephant.
