Ms. Kim Sloan, Peer Mediation teacher at Kennewick High School talks about how mediation has help reduce conflicts and prevent violence at Kennewick High School. The only High School in Kennewick School District to provide these classes. Limited resources are preventing Kennewick High School form having the Mediation class Spring 2001. Students at SAVE recommend that the administration reinstate these classes next year. |

The Peer Mediation class has helped teach
me to handle my own anger, plus be a role model for others. We
believe that due to this class students are kinder to each other.
