Vice President of Kiwanis of Auburn and
coordinating volunteer projects for the club. 2010
Summer:
India Social Service Institute Intern for 6 weeks to help
improve sustainability
2009-2010 Volunteered locally for Kiwanis 100 hours
plus supervised a college student trip to Panama to build a school
and work with the children.
2008: Volunteered locally for Kiwanis 100
hours plus organized an International trip for 22 students to
Jamaica to build a cafeteria, and raised over 50% of the funding
needed. Interned for Red Cross, United Way.
2007-2008 Rabour Village, Kenya 10 weeks educating
village on HIV/AIDS prevention.
2006-7 - Girl Scouts, Circle K Club
Volunteered over 200 hours helping people in the community
2006- Summer US Embassy in France while
attending school.
2005-2006 - Summer Camp Leader for Skagit Valley
College Leadership, Raised awareness and funds for a Katrina Evacuee
to go to school at Skagit, find work for husband, obtain a house and
furniture to live during their time in Mt. Vernon.
2004-2005 - Organized a fund raiser for the Tsunami Relief Efforts,
Volunteered to Get the Vote Out, Planned
Parenthood.
2003-2004 - 1900 hours AmeriCorps NCCC over 2000
hours of volunteering in 10 months.
