March 30-April 2, 2000 - Girl Scout Wider Opportunity Leadership in the New Millennium
All of us at the National Girl Scout Office in New York This wider op was better then I expected. When I thought
about it, I imagined many hours hearing long lectures, boy was I wrong!
Being at Edith Macy Conference Center in New York and meeting so many
other girls from around the country was a great experience. I loved
getting to know each one of them not only as Girl Scout's but as normal girls. If
you can call any of us NORMAL. I felt so alive around them, I wish I could
of brought them back with me. I also learned many leadership techniques
from everyone of them. I learned everyone has their own leadership style.
I hope every Girl Scout I meet will remain life long friends. Girl
Scouts is FRIENDSHIP, ya know! In front of the Rockefeller Center in New York. Leadership training Group.
Where's the Girl Scouts at Sonywonders Technology Lab? Chris and I riding together!
Twelve on a single bed! We challenge all other Girl Scouts to see how many they can get on a single bed!
Just some of the wonderful girls I met at Camp. Let's keep in touch! Your Friend Always, |
