What Does the Agency Do? Contact Helpline operates a 24 hour listening telephone service.
Volunteer Activity:

 
  • Durning the week Monday through Friday's and at the weekend Saturday's and Sunday's.
  • Teenline hours are from Monday- Sunday 3-10 pm.
  • Any teen 15 years of age or older can become a teen volunteer on phone lines only after completing training classes that are provided twice a year.
  • Cost to the volunteer is $25.00, a note book and all material are provided in the fee, scholarships and partial scholarships are available.
  • Training includes a 13 week training class, usually held every Monday night from 7- 9:30, twice a year January and Sptember.

  • The volunteer should be skilled.
  • The minimum age required is 15 years old.
  • The agency is situated near a bus route so no car is needed.
  • The facility meets the basic American Disability requirements for accessibility.
