creative solutions to community problems.

Family - Volunteer Resource Program (VRP)

The Volunteer Center of Benton and Franklin Counties recruits and refers volunteers to more than 240 agencies and organizations. The Volunteer Center is part of a national network serving as the primary local leadership organization working to promote and support effective volunteerism. The Volunteer Center is an umbrella organization for the Legal Aid Program, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), the Volunteer Resource Program (VRP), and Directors Of Volunteers In Agencies (DOVIA). The Volunteer Center is also a member of the Points of Light Foundation and is a United Way participating agency.

Youth - Students Offering Service (SOS)

The Volunteer Resource Program (VRP) places youths age 13 to adults age 54. Programs sponsored by the VRP are "Doing Something Saturdays" which allow families, youth, and groups to volunteer on weekends and make a difference in the community. There is also a youth program council and leadership camp for youth. For more information, registration, and volunteer opportunities see volunteer.tcfn.org/sos.html.
