| What Does the Agency Do? |
The agency establishes, maintains, and supports
numerous community programs pertaining to alcohol, tobacco, and drug use and abuse. |
| Volunteer Activity:
|
- attempt to buy tobacco products under supervision of BFSAC, health
dept., and the Washington State Liquor Volunteers Board. (agents directing all aspects of
the sting operations)
- Weekdays once or twice a month from 3-7 pm. Typically two
volunteers per outing.
- Volunteers aged 14-16 team up with personnel authorized to conduct
sting activities on merchants Who are privileged to sell tobacco products to anyone over
the age of 18 years.
- The volunteer will never have to appear in court.
- Training will consist of 15 minute training's with the law
enforcement agents prior to scheduled activites.
