What Does the Agency Do?

 

 The American Cancer Society works to fight cancer and save lives while finding ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer.
Volunteer Activity:

 

 
  • Volunteers participate in a variety of programs to educate youth about tobacco (puppet shows, distributing educational materials at sporting events like Posse and American games.)
  • Everything needed is provided including T- shirts.
  • Occasional meetings and training are held when needed.

  • Minimum age requirement = grade 9-12
  • Access to a car may be useful, but not required.
