My Civil War July 2003 Adventure

Staying in Annapolis
MD
St. Johns
College, Annapolis MD - I spent 4 nights in my own dorm room.
The first day we got to go to Six Flags
The second day we took a tour of
Fredericksburg Battlefield. and a tour of
Chancellorsville Battlefield.
The third day we visited the
Young Marines National
Headquarters, Marine
Corps Historical Center, and DC sites.
The fourth day we visited Northern Virginia and Maryland sites,
Manassas Battlefield,
Harper's Ferry, and spent the night
at National Guard Armory Sharpsburg, MD.
The fifth day we visited Antietam
Battlefield, role played as a Civil War Soldier, dined on Civil War
meal and spent another night at National Guard Armory.
The sixth day we visited Gettysburg
Battlefield.
The seventh day we all went home, boy was I tired. I didn't leave DC until
5 P.M. and arrive on the West Coast until 9:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time.
